Principal’s Message
Government General Degree College, Mangalkote, affiliated to The University of Burdwan, began its promising journey in 2015 with a group of young dynamic faculty members from various disciplines, resourceful office staff and support of the Higher Education Department, Government of West Bengal, with the objective to offer higher education to the students of this socio-economically backward rural area. The Institution has received the recognition of the University Grants Commission, New Delhi, under section 2(f) and 12B of UGC Act of 1956. We value individualism, creativity and innovation, and strive to nurture them in our students. Students are the backbone of the nation and our aim is to give them a fruitful and rewarding life so that they can be their own master and take control of their future.
